Egypt Launches New Digital Justice Projects to Accelerate Transformation

Cairo – September 30, 2025 – Egypt has unveiled a series of new digital justice projects as part of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s vision to digitize state institutions and enhance judicial efficiency. The initiatives were launched during a ceremony at the Ministry of Justice headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, attended by senior judicial leaders and technology partners.

The projects were inaugurated by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Minister of Justice Adnan Al-Fangari, with participation from the President of the Court of Cassation and Supreme Judicial Council, the Public Prosecutor, and other top judicial officials.

Key Projects Launched

  • A revamped digital portal for expanded citizen services.
  • First-ever inquiry services for marriage and church registrar data.
  • A new authentication services portal detailing notarization offices, procedures, and documentation.
  • An interactive justice map covering courts, real estate registries, and prosecution branches.
  • Remote translation services for official documents.
  • A judicial enforcement e-service for administrative authorities.
  • A healthcare app for judicial employees.
  • A new Ministry of Justice mobile app, integrating healthcare, judicial inspection, and the legal encyclopedia.
  • Digitalization of dispute reconciliation committees (Phase One).
  • An updated legal encyclopedia with advanced search features.

Driving Digital Egypt’s Justice System

Minister Amr Talaat described the initiatives as a breakthrough in building “Digital Egypt’s justice system,” emphasizing that technology will enhance accessibility and efficiency while preserving judicial dignity and authority. He noted the reforms are anchored on three pillars: citizen services, judicial empowerment tools, and government-to-government digital platforms.

Justice Minister Al-Fangari underscored the Ministry’s commitment to simplifying citizen access to justice while empowering judicial bodies, describing digital transformation as central to Egypt’s broader renaissance under President El-Sisi.

The ceremony concluded with recognition of the joint teams and partner companies behind the projects, marking another step in Egypt’s path toward a modern, transparent, and technology-driven judiciary.
