Omantel has partnered with Decoil, an Omani artificial intelligence startup and graduate of Omantel Innovation Labs, to co-develop Enterprise Brain — a next-generation, AI-powered knowledge platform aimed at transforming how organizations access and utilize institutional intelligence.
Aligned with Omantel’s “Portal to the Future” strategy, the collaboration reinforces the company’s vision of embedding AI at the core of its operations. The initiative supports four strategic pillars: advancing AI leadership, fostering innovation across Oman and the region, building an integrated digital ecosystem, and enabling sustainability in line with Oman Vision 2040.
Enterprise Brain is designed as an intelligent knowledge hub that allows employees to instantly access, interpret, and connect organizational data through natural-language queries. Acting as a smart institutional reference, it enhances productivity, accelerates decision-making, and ensures that all insights are sourced from verified, trustworthy data repositories.
Built for enterprises operating in highly regulated and data-sensitive sectors, the platform integrates advanced data governance, compliance, and protection protocols into its architecture. By transforming fragmented, complex datasets into actionable intelligence, it simplifies enterprise information management while maintaining strict security and reliability standards.
The first implementation will take place within Omantel, before expanding to other industries through a commercial rollout. Leveraging Omantel’s digital infrastructure and Decoil’s AI engineering expertise, the solution will be delivered as a secure, flexible SaaS platform supported by robust computing capabilities and high-speed connectivity — enabling enterprises to process and manage vast data volumes efficiently.
Decoil will play a central role in building and fine-tuning the Large Language Models (LLMs) that power the platform, ensuring tailored, enterprise-grade AI aligned with stringent data security requirements. This ensures the platform operates as a trusted, intelligent knowledge environment designed specifically for corporate and institutional use.
This partnership not only strengthens Decoil’s position as a rising innovator in Oman’s AI landscape but also reaffirms Omantel’s leadership in driving the Sultanate’s digital transformation. Through Omantel Innovation Labs, the company continues to nurture local startups, accelerate technological innovation, and invest in ventures that contribute to Oman’s growing digital economy — supported by its joint fund with Future Fund Oman.
