Bahraini Students Shine at GITEX Global 2025 with Innovative Tech Projects

Bahraini university students are making their mark at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, showcasing cutting-edge projects in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital innovation. Their participation marks the launch of the third edition of BTECH’s Tech Innovators initiative, designed to spotlight emerging Bahraini talent and bridge academia with the global tech industry.

Organized by BTECH in collaboration with WorkSmart for Event Management, the initiative is supported by GFH Financial Group, CrediMax, BMMI, and Khaleeji Bank — institutions united by their commitment to empowering youth and advancing Bahrain’s digital economy.

Students presented their innovative projects to international investors, tech leaders, and industry experts, gaining valuable exposure, mentorship, and real-world experience. Workshops and networking sessions helped participants enhance their career readiness and entrepreneurial skills, further preparing them for leadership roles in technology and innovation.

BTECH Chairman Rashed Abdulla Alsnan said the initiative underscores Bahrain’s dedication to nurturing its youth and positioning the kingdom as a hub for knowledge and innovation. WorkSmart CEO Ahmed Al Hujairi added that Tech Innovators has become a premier national platform for young talents, combining learning with direct engagement at one of the world’s largest tech events.
