Manama, Bahrain — Aramex, the global logistics and transportation leader, has partnered with Bahrain Post to launch the Kingdom’s first nationwide electronic boxes network, introducing a new era of automated parcel collection and customer convenience.
The smart boxes, owned by Bahrain Post and powered by Aramex’s logistics technology, are designed to eliminate delivery delays, reduce costs, and improve accessibility for both consumers and businesses. Using real-time tracking and mobile integration, customers can now collect parcels securely and at their convenience, avoiding long postal queues and limited delivery windows.
This partnership comes amid a booming e-commerce market, with GCC online retail sales projected to reach USD 50 billion by 2025. Analysts estimate that automated parcel systems like these could cut delivery costs by up to 30% while dramatically improving customer satisfaction.
Yanal Anz, General Manager of Aramex Bahrain, said:
“Aramex is at the forefront of building smart logistics infrastructure in the region. This partnership with Bahrain Post reflects our shared commitment to modernizing national delivery systems through technology. By combining Aramex’s innovation with Bahrain Post’s extensive network, we are setting a new benchmark for customer-centric delivery solutions in the Kingdom.”
The initiative supports Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, aligning with national goals to enhance digital infrastructure and sustainability in logistics. It also reinforces Aramex’s broader mission to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050, using technology to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
