Under the theme “Recognition for Innovation, Inspiration for Transformation,” the Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Awards 2025 celebrated the country’s most promising minds in technology and creativity during a gala ceremony held at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).
Organized by the Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Network (BIIN), the event brought together policymakers, tech leaders, entrepreneurs, and youth innovators to recognize groundbreaking projects shaping Bangladesh’s digital transformation journey.
Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh, attended as the chief guest, alongside ICT Division Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury and BTRC Chairman Major General (Retd) Md Emdad ul Bari as special guests.
In his address, Dr. Chowdhury urged the youth to overcome self-doubt and trust their capabilities, stating, “Our young generation holds immense potential; their innovative power can make Bangladesh shine brighter on the global technology map.”
Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury reaffirmed the government’s commitment to investing in technology-led initiatives, while Maj. Gen. Emdad ul Bari stressed that innovation must remain people-centric, enabling inclusive participation across all regions.
Syed Almas Kabir, Chairman of BIIN, said the awards aim to create a national platform for innovators to showcase their ideas and attract investment, while General Secretary Moon M Rajib emphasized the goal of building a collaborative ecosystem that unites students, professionals, and journalists in driving national development.
