Morocco’s digital services and outsourcing exports have continued their steady growth, reaching 13.4 billion Moroccan dirhams (MAD) by the end of June 2025, according to preliminary figures from the Office des Changes. The result represents a 3.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024, reaffirming the global competitiveness of Morocco’s digital economy.
Despite global slowdowns in IT services and intensified competition in outsourcing, Morocco’s technology sector remains a pillar of national economic resilience. In 2024, digital service exports totaled 26.2 billion MAD, reflecting a slight but stable 0.2% rise year-on-year amid international market challenges.
Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) continues to lead the sector, accounting for 40.3% of total digital exports, followed by customer relationship management (CRM) and call center services, which remain major sources of foreign revenue and employment.
These advancements are closely tied to the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, which seeks to position the Kingdom as a regional hub for digital services and outsourcing. The national strategy emphasizes innovation, market diversification, and global partnerships to enhance Morocco’s role as a leading provider of digital and technological solutions.
