ADCMC and e& Partner to Strengthen Abu Dhabi’s Digital Infrastructure and Crisis Preparedness

The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre – Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e& UAE during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, marking a major step toward enhancing Abu Dhabi’s digital resilience and technological readiness.

The collaboration aims to accelerate the emirate’s digital transformation, reinforce its crisis management ecosystem, and support government efforts to deploy cutting-edge communications and data solutions.

Key areas of cooperation include the provision of cloud hosting solutions, establishment of data and control centres, and integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to improve operational efficiency. The MoU also focuses on cybersecurity, big data analytics, and advanced digital systems designed to meet future emergency response demands.

Dr. Abdulla Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of ADCMC’s Response and Recovery Sector, said the partnership underscores the Centre’s commitment to adopting innovative technologies aligned with Abu Dhabi’s vision for digital excellence and AI integration. He highlighted that the initiative will also focus on building national capabilities through training and awareness programmes aimed at preparing local talent for future challenges.

He added that ADCMC continues to forge strategic partnerships with specialised entities to develop an integrated crisis management system powered by advanced technologies, enhancing the emirate’s position as a regional leader in emergency preparedness.

Abdulla Al Ahmed, Chief Government and VVIP Relations Officer at e& UAE, noted that the agreement will deliver resilient dual-path connectivity, sovereign cloud infrastructure, and secure communication systems critical for national resilience.

“Through advanced 5G, IoT, and cybersecurity capabilities, combined with real-time analytics and talent training, this collaboration enables responders to share information faster and make data-driven decisions in critical moments,” he said.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Abdulla Hamarain Al Dhaheri on behalf of ADCMC and Omar Abdulla Al Kaf, Senior Director and Head of Government Sales at e& UAE. It represents a pivotal advancement in ensuring reliable, continuous, and secure communications across wired and wireless networks — essential for Abu Dhabi’s preparedness in emergencies, crises, and disasters.
