Manama — October 21, 2025: The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) have announced the full integration of the Electricity & Water Services App into Bahrain’s unified MyGov app, as part of the government’s digital transformation and app consolidation strategy.
Starting Thursday, October 23, the standalone Electricity & Water Services App will be officially discontinued, with all related services now accessible through MyGov, the central platform for individual eGovernment services.
The move aligns with the government’s mobile app merger plan, which consolidates public services into three key platforms:
- MyGov for individuals
- Al Tajir for businesses and investors
- Bahrain app for visitors
Following the migration, users can now perform all EWA-related eServices directly via MyGov, including:
- Bill and connection fee payments
- Viewing and payment of current and previous bills
- Consumption summaries and averages
- Comparative usage insights
- Access to EWA service center locations
These services are now integrated with other national eGovernment offerings, creating a one-stop platform for residents to complete their transactions quickly and securely.
The iGA and EWA urged all citizens and residents to download the MyGov app from the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps, or access services via the National Portal (bahrain.bh) and EWA website (www.ewa.bh).
For inquiries, users can contact the EWA Customer Service Center at 17515555, or submit feedback through the Tawasul platform or Tawasul app.
Since its launch in February 2025, the MyGov app has recorded over 550,000 downloads and now offers 89 integrated services, reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a regional leader in digital governance and citizen-centric innovation.
