Bahrain, TikTok Partner to Strengthen Digital Media and Creative Industries

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): The Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, held a meeting with Maria Cohn, TikTok Global’s Deputy Director of Government Relations and Public Policy for the METAPSA region, and Jenan Al Hashli, Head of Public Policy for the GCC, to explore enhanced collaboration in Bahrain’s digital content and creative economy.

Dr. Al Noaimi reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to working with leading global platforms like TikTok to accelerate the growth of Bahrain’s digital media sector, empower national talent, and promote innovation in content creation. He noted that such partnerships play a key role in transforming Bahrain into a regional hub for creative industries, aligned with the Kingdom’s digital transformation strategy.

The meeting also focused on initiatives for training, knowledge sharing, and digital skills development to help Bahraini creators strengthen their presence on global platforms. TikTok representatives expressed their commitment to supporting Bahrain’s digital ambitions through joint programs that nurture creativity, cultural storytelling, and responsible digital engagement.
