Saudi HRtech Startup Squadio Raises $3 Million to Scale AI-Driven Remote Tech Hiring

RIYADH – October 27, 2025: Saudi-based HRtech platform Squadio has secured $3 million in a pre-Series A round to expand its AI-powered remote hiring services across the MENA region, Africa, and Silicon Valley. The funding round was backed by Wa’ed Ventures, 500 Sanabil MENA, Nour Nouf Ventures, SEEDRA Ventures, and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).

Founded in 2019 by Khaled Senawy, Squadio connects companies with vetted global tech talent to build remote-first engineering, design, and product teams. The platform currently features 55,000+ professionals from over 80 countries and has served 450+ companies across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and the U.S.

Squadio’s mission is to bridge the global tech talent gap from Saudi Arabia, empowering startups and enterprises to scale rapidly with custom, on-demand teams. Its client portfolio includes leading Saudi organizations such as STC, Elm, Thiqah, Monsha’at, and Nupco.

This funding validates our model and accelerates our mission to help companies build world-class digital products, regardless of geography,” said Khaled Senawy, Founder and CEO of Squadio.

The new funding will be used to enhance Squadio’s AI matching technology, strengthen operational infrastructure, and expand regional offices. Headquartered in Riyadh, the company also operates from Dubai, Alexandria, and California’s Silicon Valley, positioning itself as a cross-border enabler of global engineering teams.

As remote work and AI-driven recruitment redefine the global labor landscape, Squadio aims to make Saudi Arabia a hub for digital innovation and global talent orchestration.
