Velents.ai Raises USD 1.5 Million to Launch First Arabic-Speaking AI Employee

CAIRO / RIYADH – October 27, 2025: Egypt–Saudi-based AI startup Velents.ai has raised USD 1.5 million to launch Agent.sa, the first fully Arabic-speaking AI employee built for enterprises across the Middle East.

Founded in 2021 by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Velents began as an intelligent recruitment platform before evolving in 2023 into a full-scale enterprise AI company. The new innovation, Agent.sa, functions like a human employee — handling calls, WhatsApp conversations, data entry, and customer inquiries fluently in Arabic.

The funding round included angel investors from leading firms such as Google and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Velents said Agent.sa integrates with more than 20 enterprise systems, including CRMs and payment gateways, and can adapt to sectors such as banking, telecom, logistics, and e-commerce.

Co-founder Mohamed Gaber noted that the product aims to “redefine how Arabic-speaking businesses operate by replacing traditional software tools with intelligent AI co-workers who understand local language, culture, and context.”

By bridging the AI-language gap, Velents seeks to accelerate digital transformation in the Arab world, offering enterprises a solution that enhances productivity, reduces costs, and improves customer engagement through natural Arabic communication.
