Batelco by Beyon Integrates National eKey 2.0 System into Its Mobile App for Secure, Seamless Subscriptions

Manama, October 28, 2025 — Batelco by Beyon has become the first telecom operator in Bahrain to integrate the national eKey 2.0 system directly into its mobile app, allowing citizens and residents to subscribe to new mobile lines with greater speed, security, and convenience.

Through this new integration, users can now authenticate their identity biometrically via eKey 2.0, eliminating the need to manually scan ID cards during the subscription process.
