Zain Jordan has extended its 5G network to Irbid Governorate, now covering 60% of the area including Irbid city, Bani Ubaid, and Ramtha. The expansion is part of Zain’s broader strategy to enhance high-speed connectivity and accelerate Jordan’s digital transformation across key economic and social sectors.
The advanced 5G network delivers ultra-fast internet speeds, low latency, and higher capacity—unlocking superior performance for HD streaming, cloud gaming, and immersive technologies such as VR and AR. It also supports remote work, online learning, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications across industries.
To make 5G more accessible, Zain introduced special packages starting at 12 Jordanian dinars per month, bundled with a router and offering speeds from 100 Mbps to unlimited options for homes and businesses. The offer is available through Zain’s eShop (eshop.jo.zain.com) and its retail branches across the kingdom.
With this launch, Zain strengthens its leadership in Jordan’s telecom sector, empowering individuals and enterprises in Irbid to tap into 5G’s transformative potential. The company’s 5G network already spans areas in Amman, Mafraq, Ajloun, Jerash, Karak, Balqa, and Aqaba, with plans to expand further nationwide.
