Cairo, Egypt — October 30, 2025:
The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has signed three new cooperation protocols with leading academic and industrial partners across Egypt, reinforcing its mission to build digital capacities and empower young Egyptians for the modern labor market. These initiatives support the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s (MCIT) national strategy to enhance youth skills, foster innovation, and accelerate digital transformation nationwide.
Expanding Academic and Technical Collaboration
The first protocol, signed with the University of Innovation in the East Governorate, focuses on joint training and research programs and the exchange of scientific and technical expertise. This collaboration aims to equip students and graduates in communications and information technology with the skills required to meet evolving market demands, fostering creativity, innovation, and competitiveness among Egypt’s youth.
Vocational Empowerment Through the Digital Youth of Egypt Initiative
In Assiut Governorate, NTI partnered with Petra IT to launch vocational training programs under the Digital Youth of Egypt Initiative. These programs provide hands-on experience in real working environments, preparing trainees for employment while promoting applied projects that align technical education with industry needs, both domestically and internationally.
AI and Data Skills Development in Cairo
The third agreement was signed with ABS.AI, a Cairo-based company specializing in artificial intelligence and data analytics. This partnership focuses on specialized training in AI, data analysis, and software solutions, enhancing youth readiness for emerging technology careers. It also supports job placement for NTI graduates, contributing to Egypt’s growing digital economy.
Driving Egypt’s Vision 2030
Collectively, these partnerships demonstrate NTI’s ongoing commitment to expanding its national footprint — from the East to Assiut to Cairo — while advancing Egypt’s Digital Vision 2030. By bridging academia and industry, NTI continues to strengthen human capital, promote digital inclusion, and position Egypt as a regional leader in innovation and technology-driven growth.
