Zain’s Dizlee Partners with Aduna to Accelerate API Monetization and Digital Service Deployment

Zain Group’s API monetization platform, Dizlee, has announced a strategic partnership with Aduna, a global aggregator of standardized network APIs backed by Ericsson and major telecom operators. The collaboration will enable faster rollout of digital services across Zain markets and Omantel, driving customer experience innovation and new B2B revenue streams.

Through this partnership, Dizlee will act as the gateway between Zain entities, Omantel, and Aduna—facilitating secure, scalable deployment of services such as SIM Swap detection, number verification, identity verification, and fraud prevention. By unifying these APIs under the CAMARA protocol, Zain enhances interoperability and accelerates commercialization opportunities for fintechs, insurers, e-commerce platforms, and government organizations.

Malek Hammoud, Zain Group Chief Digital and Investment Officer, said the partnership reflects Zain’s leadership in the fast-growing network API economy: “We’re combining all Zain operating companies’ APIs on a single platform to ensure global interoperability and accelerate innovation across industries.”

Aduna CEO Anthony Bartolo added that the partnership marks a major step in Aduna’s MENA expansion, integrating Zain’s footprint and Omantel’s reach with Aduna’s global API platform to “unlock the full value of standardized network APIs.”

Launched in 2018, Dizlee now powers over 280 services from 47 partners across gaming, entertainment, messaging, and authentication, connecting more than 50 million customers. The collaboration underscores Zain’s role as a digital transformation leader under its “4WARD – Progress with Purpose” strategy.
