Hytera and Vodafone Qatar Strengthen Partnership with New Industry-Focused MoU

Hytera and Vodafone Qatar have signed a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing secure, mission-critical communication services for Qatar’s most essential industries. The agreement, formalised during MWC Doha 2025, builds on a long-standing partnership and reinforces both companies’ commitment to delivering robust, future-ready communication capabilities across the country.

The MoU aligns Vodafone Qatar’s strong network infrastructure with Hytera’s global expertise in critical communications, enabling enhanced solutions for sectors such as public safety, utilities, transportation, healthcare and construction. Through deeper cooperation in joint development, market expansion and service enhancement, the partnership seeks to support operational resilience and accelerate digital transformation across national industries.

Both companies emphasised their shared goal of helping organisations improve coordination, increase safety, and maintain service excellence as operational demands grow more complex. Hytera highlighted its dedication to open communication standards—including TETRA, DMR, PDT and LTE—and its continued focus on delivering industry-specific solutions.

Commenting on the announcement, Stanley Song, Vice President of Hytera, said the strengthened collaboration represents “an important step in creating long-term value for Qatar’s key industries.”
