Morocco has taken a significant step toward strengthening its growing gaming ecosystem with the launch of “Moroccan Video Games,” a new digital showcase page created by the Morocco Gaming Industry (MGI). The platform highlights locally developed video games and brings national talent to the forefront as the country accelerates its creative-tech ambitions for 2025.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication of Morocco said the initiative is part of its mandate to develop and promote the gaming sector. The new page provides a dedicated national platform where Moroccan studios and developers can showcase their work, gain visibility and connect with the wider gaming community—both locally and internationally.
Developers can submit their games via email, after which approved titles receive a detailed page featuring game information, developer credits, trailers, game engine details and platform availability. The effort aims to elevate “Made in Morocco” titles and support the growing ecosystem of young creators and studios.
Part of a Larger 2025 Gaming Push
The launch complements a series of strategic national initiatives aimed at strengthening Morocco’s gaming and digital-creativity landscape. These include MGI’s Master’s program in Game Design and Animation, a nine-month professional “Video Game Creator” course and the country’s Video Game Incubation Program, which provides mentorship and project-development support for emerging studios.
Morocco is also investing in creative-tech infrastructure such as Rabat Gaming City, positioning the country as a future regional hub for game development and digital content creation.
For Moroccan developers, the new showcase page serves not just as a digital directory, but as a national stage offering exposure to players, investors and global industry professionals. As 2025 concludes, the launch marks a meaningful milestone in Morocco’s ambitions to solidify its place in the regional and international gaming landscape.
