Hytera and Vodafone Qatar have signed an industry-focused memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing secure and reliable communications solutions for Qatar’s most critical sectors. The agreement, formalized during Mobile World Congress (MWC) Doha 2025, strengthens a long-standing partnership between the two companies and reinforces their shared commitment to building future-ready communication ecosystems across the country.
The MoU aligns Vodafone Qatar’s robust network capabilities with Hytera’s global expertise in professional and mission-critical communications, enabling both companies to better serve industries where dependable connectivity is essential — including public safety, transportation, healthcare, utilities, and construction. The collaboration will support organizations in improving coordination, enhancing safety, and maintaining operational continuity in increasingly complex environments.
The expanded partnership focuses on joint development, market expansion, and enhanced service offerings tailored to Qatar’s evolving critical communications landscape. Both companies aim to deliver solutions that support digital transformation and long-term resilience across key industries.
Hytera emphasized its continued commitment to open communication standards — spanning TETRA, DMR, PDT, LTE, and broadband technologies — all designed to meet the unique requirements of mission-critical users. Stanley Song, Vice President of Hytera, said the agreement represents a significant step toward creating long-term value for Qatar’s industrial sectors and strengthening their joint presence in the market.
