e& UAE Integrates Amdocs’ AI Agents Across Customer Care, Retail and Network Operations

e& UAE has begun deploying Amdocs’ pre-built telco AI agents across its customer care, retail, and network operations, becoming one of the first telecom operators globally to operationalise generative AI at scale across multiple business domains. The integration is powered by Amdocs’ amAIz generative AI platform and is supported by NVIDIA AI Enterprise infrastructure.

The amAIz platform provides e& UAE with a library of predefined, telco-specific AI agents and skills designed to improve operational efficiency, reshape customer interactions, and unlock new revenue opportunities. A key feature of the deployment is the built-in guardrail framework, which includes role-based access control, logging, auditing, and privacy compliance. These safeguards ensure that only authorised employees can access AI services and that agents are restricted from sensitive systems based on interaction context.

Through this integration, e& UAE is embedding generative AI directly into its core business processes, enabling faster issue resolution, smarter recommendations, and measurable efficiency gains across customer-facing and network environments. The platform also ensures that each task is matched with the most suitable foundation model to optimise accuracy, cost efficiency, and carrier-grade performance.

The project is supported by Amdocs’ collaboration with NVIDIA, using NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NVIDIA NeMo, and a suite of microservices for building, customising, and deploying generative AI models. This allows e& UAE to rapidly scale AI applications and accelerate time-to-value across its operations.

Marwan Bin Shakar, Acting Chief Technology and Information Officer at e& UAE, said the initiative builds on earlier AI-led retail innovation and represents a responsible and pragmatic step toward scalable AI adoption. He added that the deployment will deliver faster resolutions, smarter recommendations, and tangible outcomes for customers.

Anthony Goonetilleke, Group President of Technology and Head of Strategy at Amdocs, said the collaboration is a critical proof point of generative AI’s role in telecom transformation, enabling simultaneous improvements in customer experience and operating efficiency. NVIDIA’s Chris Penrose added that AI agents are redefining the future of work by combining reasoning with outcome-driven automation, positioning e& UAE for large-scale AI innovation.
