Egyptian skills development startup Eyouth has announced a US$6 million partnership with global education consultancy EDT&Partners to equip one million young people in Africa and the Middle East with essential digital skills. This collaboration, set to launch in February 2025, aims to provide training in areas like artificial intelligence, programming, data analysis, digital marketing, and modern pedagogy.
Founded in 2016 and taken online in 2018, Eyouth designs and develops online courses to help young people enhance their careers and acquire skills needed for the labor market. The partnership will leverage Eyouth’s platform and expertise in MENA, combined with EDT&Partners’ innovative educational tools and frameworks, to reach individuals aged 15 to 35.
Eyouth’s co-founder and CEO, Mostafa Abdel Latif, stated that the organization has already helped develop the skills of over three million youth and aims to accelerate and empower one million more through this partnership. The initiative will also provide financial support to qualified educators in the region, further contributing to the growth of the digital economy in Africa and the Middle East.
