Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading connectivity provider, has teamed up with Waste Hero to host a series of events focused on waste management and environmental sustainability. The collaboration reflects Zong 4G’s commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices and low-carbon initiatives.
Key activities included an interactive session at Excellence College in which 75 students learned about waste segregation and recycling, encouraging eco-conscious behaviors among youth. In Rawalpindi, Zong 4G and Waste Hero organized a workshop with NICAT, bringing together over 50 professionals and entrepreneurs to discuss innovative electronic waste management solutions.
Zong also led an awareness drive at its headquarters, where employees participated in e-waste disposal discussions and activities. The campaign culminated in a clean-up hike at Margalla Trail 5 in Islamabad, where volunteers removed 7kg of waste, emphasizing the importance of preserving natural spaces.
Zong 4G’s spokesperson, Andleeb Aslam, highlighted the power of collective action in driving sustainability and reaffirmed the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility.
