JAIS 30B Chat, available through Microsoft Azure AI’s Model-as-a-Service offering, provides pre-trained models and infrastructure, allowing customization to meet diverse needs and specifications. This integration bridges the gap in generative AI accessibility for the 422 million Arabic speakers worldwide, enabling localized solutions, opening new market opportunities, and fostering multilingual innovation for developers.
JAIS 30B Chat sets new industry standards with its exceptional generative AI capabilities, excelling in cross-lingual conversations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), summarization, content generation, and reasoning. Tailored to the intricacies of the Arabic language, it addresses critical technology gaps for Arabic speakers.
Trained on a dataset of 1.63 trillion tokens, including 475 billion Arabic tokens, JAIS 30B Chat benefits from a code-augmented bilingual training dataset, enhancing its logical reasoning abilities in both Arabic and English. This positions JAIS 30B Chat as the premier Arabic LLM for high-quality output and complex downstream tasks, enabling more efficient processing of large volumes of Arabic text compared to most English LLMs.
