PFL and StarzPlay Partner to Stream MMA Content Across MENA Region

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced a landmark multi-year media rights partnership with StarzPlay, the leading subscription video-on-demand service in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This partnership will make all PFL programming, including the World Tournament, Champions Series, and regional events, accessible to fight fans across the MENA region.

The deal, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund through SRJ Sports Investments, ensures that PFL content will be available on StarzPlay’s mobile and TV apps. The partnership kicks off on April 3 with the launch of the 2025 PFL World Tournament. Fans will also be able to watch PFL MENA for free in 2025, with the PFL MENA Season 2 quarterfinals taking place in Jeddah on May 9. This event will feature a highly anticipated featherweight bout between Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al-Qahtani and Egypt’s Islam Reda.

Pete Murray, CEO of PFL, expressed excitement about expanding the league’s global footprint and bringing premium MMA content to millions of fight fans across the MENA region. Danny Bates, COO and co-founder of StarzPlay, highlighted the growing demand for diverse sports content and the importance of offering top-tier MMA programming to regional audiences.
