21.5% of Saudi Internet Users Engage with AI Applications, Youth Lead Usage, CST Report Shows

RIYADH — According to the Saudi Internet 2024 report by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), 21.5% of internet users in Saudi Arabia actively use various artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The 20–29 age group is the most engaged, with a usage rate of 27.3%, reflecting strong digital awareness among youth across professional, educational, and entertainment spheres.

The report highlights that AI adoption is fueled by diverse applications such as smart translation, virtual assistants, content creation, and data analytics. This growing engagement underscores Saudi Arabia’s emergence as a regional hub for innovation and digital transformation, supported by expanding digital infrastructure.

Published annually, the Saudi Internet report provides key insights into user behavior and technological trends shaping the Kingdom’s internet landscape.
