Xiaomi Technologies Bangladesh Private Limited, a leading technology firm in Bangladesh, has signed an agreement with MetLife Bangladesh to offer comprehensive insurance coverage to its employees. The agreement ensures protection against unforeseen events including loss of life, accidents, disability, hospitalization, maternity, and critical illnesses.
Xiaomi chose MetLife Bangladesh for its strong claims settlement record, customized insurance solutions, advanced dashboards, cashless outpatient and ambulance services, and robust financial capacity that enables speedy and hassle-free claim processing.
Founded in 2010, Xiaomi Technologies operates globally in over 100 countries. MetLife Bangladesh currently serves over one million individual customers and 900 organizations in the country. In 2024 alone, MetLife settled claims worth approximately Tk2,895 crore, the highest among life insurers in Bangladesh.
The agreement signing took place at Xiaomi’s Bangladesh head office, attended by Xiaomi Country Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury, MetLife Bangladesh Chief Marketing Officer Nowfel Anower, Chief Corporate Business Officer Mohammad Kamruzzaman, and other senior executives from both companies.
