Dar, a leading global consultancy and unit of Sidara, has been appointed as the independent engineer for the modernisation and expansion of Paris-Beauvais Airport in France, which serves five million passengers annually. The project, launched by SPV Bellova and executed by a design-build consortium including Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest, Bouygues Bâtiment International, Egis Avia, Egis Bâtiment, and Ameller Dubois, covers airside, landside, parking, building works, and equipment installation.
Through its local office, Dar France, the consultancy will audit design stages, oversee construction and project acceptance, and supervise resolution of outstanding issues through the defect liability period.
