In a decisive move to reshape Pakistan’s future of work, TMC Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with SAP Pakistan, hosted the Digital HR, AI-Driven Experience conference in Karachi. Timed with Pakistan’s Independence Day, the event framed digital HR transformation as a national priority, placing people strategy at the heart of building a smarter, more resilient economy.
The high-impact gathering brought together leaders from business, human resources, and digital innovation to advocate for the shift from traditional HR models to intelligent, AI-powered ecosystems. Saquib Ahmad, Country Managing Director for SAP Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bahrain, emphasized the urgency: “With only 34% of organizations in Pakistan having fully integrated digital HR functions, the country must unlock the full potential of its workforce, compete globally, and rebuild a resilient knowledge economy. Abdul Haseeb, Managing Director & CEO of TMC Pvt. Ltd., added that the event was about sparking a national dialogue on how Pakistan hires, trains, and scales its talent: “With AI as the enabler and human experience as the compass, Digital HR is the blueprint for tomorrow’s workforce.”
The conference featured expert panels and case studies from leading organizations including Engro Corporation, Tapal Tea, Pakistan Cables, and Lucky Core. Key discussion points included workforce upskilling, managing generational transitions, talent retention strategies, and the evolution of HR from administrative functions to data-driven, growth-oriented models.
