Kuwait City – Talabat, the leading on-demand online ordering platform in MENA, has marked the graduation of the second cohort of Academy X—Kuwait’s largest women’s empowerment initiative in technology and entrepreneurship. Sponsored by talabat and led by CODED Academy, the program reflects the company’s commitment to advancing Kuwait’s digital economy and supporting the New Kuwait Vision 2035.

The 2025 edition’s second cohort featured a select group of Kuwaiti female students, aged 14–18, who developed over 50 tech-driven projects. Their work spanned AI applications, app and web development, UI/UX design, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. The program also fostered self-confidence, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.

Bader Al-Ghanim, Vice President and Managing Director of talabat Kuwait, praised the graduates’ achievements, emphasizing talabat’s dedication to empowering young women in STEM and preparing them to become the country’s future tech leaders. “Our unwavering investment in youth is a direct investment in Kuwait’s digital landscape,” he said.

CODED’s Co-founder and COO, Hashim Behbehani, highlighted talabat’s role as a socially responsible partner, noting its essential contribution to the program’s success and its broader impact on Kuwait’s innovation ecosystem.

Academy X graduates also shared inspiring testimonials, describing the program as transformative in building confidence, sparking creativity, and offering hands-on opportunities to turn ideas into practical solutions.

With one more cohort scheduled for the 2025 edition, talabat plans to extend its sponsorship into future years, expanding participation, enhancing training content, and further solidifying Academy X’s role as a pioneering platform for women in tech.
