TPConnects Partners with Lufthansa City Center to Drive Global Travel Distribution Innovation

TPConnects Technologies, the IATA-certified global travel technology provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with Lufthansa City Center International (LCC), the world’s largest independent travel agency network, comprising over 320 agencies across 109 countries outside Germany.

The collaboration positions TPConnects as a preferred technology supplier within LCC’s international network, introducing its flagship Iris aggregator platform to agencies and associates worldwide. This move enables LCC members to streamline air content distribution and elevate client services in an increasingly dynamic travel landscape.

Iris consolidates multiple sources—including traditional EDIFACT, Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs), and NDC-enabled airlines—into a single platform. By unifying shopping and servicing of air content, it empowers travel sellers to provide clients with the most competitive fares and products available.

Eric Dumas, CEO of TPConnects Technologies, said: “This partnership with Lufthansa City Center marks an important step in extending our technology and expertise to one of the world’s most leading agency networks. Together, we will bring new opportunities and digital advancements to travel sellers across the globe.”

Heiko Brix, Managing Director of Lufthansa City Center International GmbH, added: “This collaboration underscores our joint commitment to leading the digital transformation of the travel sector, setting new standards of excellence and driving sustainable growth for LCC agencies worldwide—while keeping pace with the evolving expectations of tomorrow’s travellers.”

With 600 offices in 110 countries and a total turnover of €7.6 billion in 2024, Lufthansa City Center operates across both leisure and corporate travel sectors. The partnership with TPConnects highlights a shared commitment to accelerating digital transformation and delivering innovative, future-ready travel solutions globally.
