Riyadh — Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi, President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has hailed the launch of HUMAIN Chat, a new AI-powered application developed by HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company. The app, built on the ALLAM 34B model, represents a major national initiative to strengthen the digital future of the Arabic language.
Dr. Alghamdi emphasized that the project reflects the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Chairman of HUMAIN, who has prioritized enriching the internet with Arabic content as part of the Kingdom’s ambition to lead globally in data and AI.
With reliable Arabic digital resources still scarce, HUMAIN Chat is designed to expand the presence of Arabic online, while also serving as a learning tool for non-Arabic speakers. The platform incorporates cultural and religious depth, including content related to the Holy Quran, making it a unique educational and cultural resource.
Developed by highly qualified Saudi talent with expertise in computer science, HUMAIN Chat highlights the Kingdom’s growing capacity to produce world-class AI solutions. Dr. Alghamdi invited users worldwide to engage with the app, contribute to its evolution, and support Saudi Arabia’s mission to create the world’s leading Arabic AI platform.
