Zain Bahrain, the Kingdom’s leading telecom and technology innovator, has announced the launch of the Bahrain National Qualifiers for the FIFAe World Cup, scheduled for September 5–6, 2025, at the Zain Esports Lab. Organized in collaboration with the Bahrain Esports Federation and managed by Teal Flamingo Studios, the event underscores Zain’s continued investment in the country’s growing esports ecosystem.
The qualifiers will feature two categories—eFootball Mobile (1v1) and eFootball Console (2v2)—bringing together Bahrain’s top esports athletes to compete for the chance to represent the nation on the global FIFAe stage.
Since opening Zain Esports Lab, the company has hosted a range of successful tournaments, nurturing a vibrant community of gamers and positioning Bahrain as a hub for competitive gaming in the region. This latest initiative cements Zain Bahrain’s role as a pioneer in the MENA esports scene.
Open exclusively to Bahraini citizens aged 16 and above, the tournament offers a rare platform for local talent—both male and female—to showcase their skills in a professionally managed and globally recognized competitive environment.
