CMC Networks Appoints Mahesh Jaishankar as Managing Director to Drive AI-Powered Connectivity Growth

CMC Networks, Africa’s leading networking provider and a subsidiary of center3, has appointed Mahesh Jaishankar as its new Managing Director. He takes over from Marisa Trisolino, who served as CEO until April 2025. Jaishankar will spearhead CMC’s strategy to advance AI-powered connectivity while leveraging its 35-year presence across Africa and the Middle East.

Jaishankar brings more than 25 years of industry leadership, having served as Head of Strategic Negotiations at Google and played a pivotal role in building datamena into a global digital hub during his tenure at du. He also advised Arthur D Little on digital infrastructure projects. His track record includes working with hyperscalers, OTTs, carriers, and enterprises to deliver advanced connectivity solutions.

Since its acquisition by center3 in June 2024, CMC Networks has accelerated the adoption of Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps), positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven connectivity in Africa. Operating in 62 markets, the company is combining global expertise with deep local presence to shape the next generation of networking solutions.
