The Qatar Investment and Innovation Conference has confirmed the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) as Strategic Partner for its upcoming edition, scheduled for 3 November 2025 at Barahat Msheireb. Organized by The Business Year (TBY) and Msheireb Properties, the high-level forum will focus on the theme “Driving GCC Entrepreneurial Growth.”
The event will convene policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and private sector leaders to explore opportunities in innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship across the Gulf. Topics will include scaling startups, investment strategies, and the role of public-private partnerships in enhancing competitiveness. Msheireb Downtown Doha will serve as the venue for these regional discussions.
MCIT’s involvement underscores its commitment to advancing Qatar’s digital transformation, in line with the Third National Development Strategy, Qatar National Vision 2030, and Digital Agenda 2030. Faraj Jassim Abdulla, Director of the Digital Economy Department at MCIT, emphasized that the conference will empower entrepreneurs by creating a collaborative platform to accelerate innovation and strengthen Qatar’s role as a regional leader in the knowledge-based economy.
A highlight of this year’s edition will be the AI for Good Innovation Challenge, hosted with YAILs and its Doha chapter, showcasing AI-driven solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Emerging GCC startups will present alongside global innovators in panel discussions with policymakers and industry experts.
As Strategic Partner, MCIT will help shape the program, ensuring it reflects Qatar’s priorities while reinforcing the nation’s role as a hub for entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and innovation-led growth in the region.
