The 2030 Leaders Program, a flagship initiative of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), has entered a strategic partnership with NEOM to deliver Module 4 of Cohort 7, themed “Execute: Delivering strategies in a dynamic world.” The module took place from September 14 to 18 in NEOM, the futuristic region under development in northwest Saudi Arabia.
Established in 2011 by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Misk Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to cultivating learning and leadership among Saudi youth. The 2030 Leaders Program, designed for senior executives across public, private, and non-profit sectors, blends academic instruction with hands-on training to empower leaders in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Module 4 focused on enhancing capabilities to lead change in fast-paced environments requiring agility and effective decision-making. Leveraging NEOM’s pioneering experience in large-scale innovation and change management, the program equipped participants with tools to transform strategies into actionable outcomes.
The module’s components included:
- Training in negotiation techniques, building alliances, and multicultural collaboration
- Site visits and interactive sessions with NEOM executives to showcase real-world project execution
- Exposure to NEOM’s approach as a living laboratory for innovation, combining strategic depth with diverse, multidisciplinary expertise
Ikram Sehgal, Chairman of the Pathfinder Group, underscored that the partnership highlights the program’s mission to enrich learning through collaboration with leading national projects. NEOM, as a global benchmark for translating ambitious visions into reality, provided an ideal platform to demonstrate advanced project delivery, change management, and leadership execution.
Through this collaboration, participants gained direct exposure to transformative national initiatives, preparing them to drive innovation and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s transition toward a knowledge-based society.
