Pakistan to become a key player in the global halal fashion industry: ICCD holds Halal Fashion Conference 2025

Karachi: The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development held its Halal Fashion Conference 2025 in Karachi, bringing together fashion experts, trade bodies, business owners, among other stakeholders for a highly charged and impactful dialogue around the evolving demands of the Halal fashion industry in Pakistan and globally.

The Conference is organized in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Al Baraka Bank Pakistan, highlighted Pakistan’s rich and diverse textile heritage, including fabric, design, and cultural varieties, to emphasize how the country can play a vital role in propelling the global modest fashion market to new heights by helping to diversify fashion trends and making sourcing accessible to all.

H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, Secretary General of ICCD said: “At the intersection of values and commerce, halal fashion extends beyond modest attire to represent a global movement that unites faith and culture, while fostering innovation and opening new avenues for investment and sustainable economic growth.”

The conference focused on four key areas of the fashion debate: ethical sourcing, sustainable products, inclusive designs, and a faith-driven system across the board for all stakeholders, markets, and consumers.
