At the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform officially launched the national rollout of the “WE-Elevate” program, developed in collaboration with the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).
The initiative is designed to empower women- and youth-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing access to digital learning modules, mentorship opportunities, and business platforms that can help them digitize operations, scale effectively, and expand into global markets.
Championing the program, Amal El Fallah-Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Digital Transition and Administration Reform, emphasized Morocco’s commitment to positioning itself as a digital innovation hub in Africa. She noted that WE-Elevate equips entrepreneurs with the tools needed to strengthen their competitiveness and participate more actively in the digital economy.
The Minister also stressed the vital role of the DCO in connecting Morocco’s national strategies with global partnerships, enabling national efforts to evolve into regional and international opportunities. This collaboration supports Morocco’s broader ambition of fostering inclusive, sustainable economic growth through digital transformation.
