WorldLink Communications Limited, Nepal’s largest internet service provider, has launched its next-generation WorldLink 6G Wi-Fi technology at a ceremony held at the Hotel Marriott in Kathmandu. The new system promises 40% wider coverage and speeds up to four times faster than existing Wi-Fi 5G, offering users a more reliable and seamless internet experience across homes and businesses.
Chairman and Managing Director Dilip Agrawal inaugurated the launch, describing Wi-Fi 6 as a crucial step toward a smarter, faster, and more efficient digital Nepal. Founded in 1995, WorldLink has grown into the nation’s leading provider of internet and networking solutions, consistently driving innovation and customer satisfaction.
The event also highlighted WorldLink’s collaboration with Nokia, whose representatives underscored the global significance of Wi-Fi 6 and its role in bringing world-class internet standards to Nepal. Additionally, WorldLink announced its sponsorship of the Kathmandu Gorkha team in the upcoming Nepal Premier League 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community engagement and sports development.
