EDGE Group and U.S.-based L3Harris Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand joint defence technology development and strengthen the UAE’s national capabilities. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for cooperation in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and next-generation defence solutions, while positioning both companies to pursue national and regional projects.
The MoU also deepens L3Harris’ long-standing presence in the UAE, where it has supplied defence technologies for over 35 years. EDGE said the partnership will directly support its product roadmap and accelerate its development of sovereign, export-ready platforms aligned with the UAE’s fast-growing defence sector.
Leaders from both companies highlighted the partnership’s potential to fast-track advanced solutions that address emerging global threats. Through joint R&D and technology integration, the collaboration aims to combine EDGE’s disruptive innovation focus with L3Harris’ global defence expertise.
