Safran.AI and UAE’s TII Partner to Build Agentic AI for Next-Gen Geospatial Intelligence

France’s Safran.AI and the UAE’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII) have entered a major partnership to co-develop a field-ready, agentic AI geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) platform designed for real-time military and security operations. Announced during the Dubai Airshow, the collaboration aims to push geospatial analytics beyond traditional generative AI toward autonomous reasoning and decision support.

TII CIO Chawki Kasmi said the goal is to deliver a new generation of AI agents that serve end users more efficiently by turning data into mission-ready insights. Safran.AI Deputy CEO Francois Bourrier Soifer emphasized that the platform will embed AI across defense equipment, transforming raw data into actionable intelligence that enhances operational awareness.

The platform blends Safran.AI’s operational intelligence architecture with TII’s orchestration technology to enable persistent, all-weather monitoring using multiple imaging sources. Unlike standard AI tools that answer “what,” the agentic AI system is designed to answer “why” — assessing threats, interpreting patterns, and autonomously supporting decision-making in command-and-control environments.

The companies will jointly build:
• An agentic geospatial reasoning engine for operational decisions
• An AI detector factory to train models on sovereign national data
• A multisession monitoring engine for continuous GEOINT coverage

The first version of the AI agent has already launched, with a fully operational platform expected within 12 months. Built on a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), the software can integrate easily into military and intelligence systems across global markets — not just within the Gulf region.
