46th GCC Summit Concludes in Bahrain With Renewed Commitments to Security, Integration, and Regional Stability

The 46th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit concluded at Al-Sakhir Palace in Manama, chaired by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the participation of Gulf leaders and state delegations. The summit reaffirmed the bloc’s commitment to deepening cooperation, enhancing regional security, and advancing economic and developmental integration.

In his closing address, King Hamad emphasized the GCC’s unified approach to strengthening collective security, accelerating economic integration projects, and expanding collaboration in strategic sectors such as food and water security and the digital economy. He reiterated that the GCC will continue supporting diplomatic efforts to secure regional stability, including backing a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian cause.

Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also addressed the summit, expressing Italy’s appreciation for its strategic partnership with the GCC. She underscored Italy’s support for enhancing regional security and expanding cooperation in clean energy, digital transformation, and maritime security — areas she noted are central to long-term stability in the Gulf.

The one-day summit concluded with a joint affirmation to continue strengthening institutional coordination across the GCC, deepen integration, and support shared development pathways to ensure prosperity for the peoples of all member states
