Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam), one of Saudi Arabia’s leading telecom providers, has signed a strategic partnership with digital transformation and cybersecurity specialist DTM. Announced at Black Hat MEA 2025, the collaboration will introduce four advanced cybersecurity products designed to reinforce digital protection for public- and private-sector organisations across the Kingdom.
The partnership comes amid a 35% rise in cyberattacks in Saudi Arabia, with threats growing more complex and demanding faster, more intelligent defense capabilities. Salam’s expanded portfolio supports national efforts to safeguard systems, critical data, and digital operations as the Kingdom accelerates its transformation agenda under Vision 2030.
Salam’s Chief Business Officer, Abdullah Mohammad Khorami, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating that DTM’s expertise strengthens the cybersecurity backbone supporting Salam’s clients. The new solutions aim to build a more resilient national digital ecosystem and deliver adaptive, future-ready defenses.
The newly launched products include:
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR): Real-time threat monitoring and automated remediation.
• Privileged Access Management (PAM): Protection for high-risk accounts to reduce insider and credential-based threats.
• Anti-Fraud Solution: Behavioral analytics to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Secure DNS: Protection against malicious domains and phishing attempts.
DTM Chairman Dmitry Samartsev emphasized that combining Salam’s national reach with DTM’s technical expertise enables stronger cybersecurity capabilities for Saudi organizations.
Through this partnership, Salam continues strengthening the digital infrastructure necessary for a secure, innovation-ready economy and advancing its role as a key enabler of Saudi Arabia’s digital future.
