PayTabs Kuwait and BEDE Partner to Accelerate Digital Commerce for SMEs

PayTabs Kuwait has entered into a strategic partnership with BEDE Kuwait, powered by Zain, to transform the digital commerce landscape for small and medium-sized enterprises across the country. Announced at NEXUS 2025, the collaboration brings together PayTabs’ payment orchestration technology, BEDE’s fintech capabilities, and Zain’s digital infrastructure to create a seamless, locally optimized commerce ecosystem.

At the centre of the partnership is the pilot launch of BEDE Shop, a social commerce platform designed to help entrepreneurs rapidly establish an online presence without technical complexity. The platform enables merchants to launch branded online storefronts in just a few clicks, manage products independently, and transition easily from social media selling to full cart-to-checkout digital commerce.

The solution also supports payment acceptance through secure links shared via platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as contactless in-store payments using static QR codes. These features are designed to simplify payment collection, reduce friction, and help SMEs monetize their offerings more efficiently across digital and physical channels.

Aligned with Zain Group’s ‘4WARD’ strategy, the partnership focuses on advancing financial inclusion and strengthening the regional digital economy. By streamlining invoicing, improving security, and enabling flexible payment options, PayTabs and BEDE aim to empower Kuwaiti startups and SMEs to scale locally and expand beyond national borders.
