Iraq ranked second among destinations for Jordan’s engineering, electrical, and information technology exports during the first nine months of 2025, according to data released by the Jordan Chamber of Industry.
Exports to global markets reached 1.231 billion Jordanian dinars (approximately $1.74 billion), up from 1.115 billion dinars in the same period of 2024, representing year-on-year growth of 10.4 percent. The chamber described the sector as a key pillar of Jordan’s industrial output, with total production nearing 2 billion dinars (around $2.82 billion).
In terms of export distribution, the United States ranked first with a 48 percent share, followed by Iraq at 12 percent, Saudi Arabia at 8 percent, Switzerland at 5 percent, and the United Arab Emirates at 4 percent.
Separate figures from the Amman Chamber of Commerce showed that Iraq was Jordan’s largest overall export destination in the first 11 months of 2025, importing goods worth approximately $771 million. These exports were supported by the issuance of 3,207 certificates of origin, underscoring the strength of bilateral trade ties between the two countries.
