Banglalink Regains ISO 27001:2022 Certification, Strengthening Cybersecurity Standards

Veon-owned Banglalink has regained ISO 27001:2022 certification for its information security management systems, reaffirming its compliance with internationally recognised cybersecurity standards. The recertification reflects the operator’s strengthened security controls and its ability to protect customer data in line with global best practices.

According to The Business Standard, Banglalink stated that achieving the certification demonstrates its continued commitment to managing information security risks and safeguarding sensitive data across its operations. ISO 27001:2022 is widely regarded as a global benchmark for effective information security governance.

Commenting on the milestone, Banglalink CTO Huseyin Turker said the certification underscores the company’s strong focus on data protection and service reliability. He added that the operator will continue investing in advanced security technologies and employee awareness programmes to further enhance its cybersecurity posture.
