Ankabut, the UAE’s advanced technology provider for the education and research community, has announced a strategic partnership with WeVideo, a global cloud-based video learning platform, to accelerate digital learning innovation across the UAE and the wider GCC.
Under the agreement, Ankabut will integrate WeVideo into its portfolio of advanced education technology solutions, expanding access to creative digital tools that support the UAE’s national innovation agenda and the development of a knowledge-based economy.
The collaboration aligns with the UAE’s vision to embed digital excellence and innovation at the heart of education, supported by national frameworks such as the National Strategy for Higher Education 2030 and broader digital transformation policies. Through this initiative, Ankabut aims to equip universities, K–12 schools, and workforce development organisations with intuitive tools for interactive content creation, video-based learning, and digital collaboration.
By enabling educators to design engaging, multimedia-rich lessons, the partnership supports stronger student engagement, creativity, and the development of 21st-century skills. Institutions will be able to deliver more dynamic and personalised learning experiences, helping learners communicate ideas effectively and build digital fluency.
The agreement also positions Ankabut as WeVideo’s primary go-to-market partner across the GCC. Leveraging Ankabut’s regional infrastructure and deep institutional relationships, the collaboration will facilitate the integration of WeVideo into educational ecosystems and national digital learning initiatives.
By combining Ankabut’s network and technology expertise with WeVideo’s cloud-based video capabilities, the partnership is expected to strengthen the region’s education systems and reinforce the GCC’s role as a global leader in technology-driven learning
