Riyadh, 02 February 2026 — Siemens has officially opened its first Siemens Digital Industries Software office in Saudi Arabia, marking a major milestone in its long-term commitment to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and accelerating digital economy.
The move establishes a direct local presence for Siemens Digital Industries Software, enabling the company to offer faster support, conduct direct transactions within the Kingdom, and operate in alignment with local commercial and regulatory frameworks. This shift from serving customers remotely to building capabilities within Saudi Arabia reflects Siemens’ deeper investment in the country’s industrial and technological growth.
The new office will support industrial digitalisation across design, simulation, manufacturing operations, and data platforms. The full Siemens Xcelerator industrial software portfolio will now be available locally, covering product lifecycle management, engineering, manufacturing operations, and low-code application development.
Siemens plans to work closely with customers, partners, and academic institutions to co-innovate, accelerate skills development, and strengthen the local ecosystem. The company also highlighted its commitment to building a sustainable local team in line with Saudization goals and long-term capability development.
Cobus Oosthuizen, Vice President and Managing Director for Middle East and Africa, Siemens Digital Industries Software, said the Kingdom’s rapidly expanding digital economy makes a local presence essential to serving customers more effectively and meeting evolving local requirements.
He added that the move brings Siemens closer to key customers such as CEER, Aramco, SABIC, and SAMI, while enabling deeper engagement with Saudi talent and innovation initiatives.
Siemens Digital Industries Software will operate under local leadership with support from its regional team, with further announcements on structure and appointments expected soon.
