Doha, March 25, 2026 — Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched the HAKEEM digital health platform and mobile app, aimed at enhancing patient-centred healthcare services and supporting Qatar’s National Health Strategy 2024–2030.
The platform provides users with secure access to essential health information, including medical appointments, lab results, prescriptions, treatment plans, and medical history. It also enables direct communication between patients and healthcare providers, improving engagement and care coordination.
HAKEEM offers a comprehensive suite of features such as appointment booking and modifications, access to medical reports, health alerts, educational content, and administrative services like sick leave and attendance certificates. The platform is designed to reduce waiting times, minimize paperwork, and streamline access to healthcare services.
QRCS emphasized that the initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to digital transformation in healthcare, improving service quality, patient safety, and overall experience. The system also supports continuous health monitoring and more informed decision-making for patients.
The launch builds on QRCS’s broader healthcare capabilities, including emergency medical services, training and development programs, and primary care services delivered through partnerships with the Ministry of Public Health.
