Algeria’s Djezzy has launched its 5G network across 18 wilayas, accelerating rollout beyond its initial deployment plan.
Following its license approval in December, the operator began with eight key regions including Algiers, Oran, and Constantine, and has now expanded to an additional ten wilayas ahead of schedule. The move reflects a faster-than-expected rollout strategy to scale next-generation connectivity nationwide.
Djezzy is inviting customers in covered areas to adopt 5G services, with further expansion planned as part of its ongoing network development.
