OPPO launches A6k in Bangladesh at BDT 19,999 targeting budget segment with AI camera and 6,500mAh battery

OPPO has officially launched the A6k smartphone in Bangladesh, priced at BDT 19,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 (6nm) processor, features a 6.75-inch IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,125 nits peak brightness, and carries a 50MP AI-assisted rear camera with Night Mode and AI Portrait Retouching. Its 6,500mAh battery includes reverse wired charging support. The handset carries an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating and runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15. AI features include AI Editor 2.0, AI GameBoost 2.0, AI LinkBoost 3.0 and Theft Protection.

The A6k is available in Crystal Violet and Crystal Blue through OPPO Band Shops, authorised retailers and online channels.

Editor’s Note: The A6k’s positioning at the BDT 19,999 price point places it squarely in Bangladesh’s most competitive smartphone tier, where the dominant use case is 4G data consumption. With Bangladesh’s Bangla QR merchant payment rollout accelerating and digital service adoption rising, affordable 4G-capable handsets with strong battery life are a meaningful infrastructure layer — the devices through which financial inclusion and e-government services reach the mass market.
