Sharjah signs agreement with Syska Group to advance smart city technologies

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi has witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Authority (SCTA) and India’s Syska Group to advance smart city technologies in the emirate.

The partnership will focus on deploying energy-efficient lighting and smart infrastructure solutions across key locations, supporting Sharjah’s broader digital transformation and sustainability goals. The collaboration is expected to enhance urban efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve public services through connected technologies.

Syska Group, known for its smart lighting and IoT-based solutions, will contribute technical expertise and infrastructure capabilities, while SCTA will facilitate implementation across tourism and public sector environments.

The agreement reflects Sharjah’s ongoing efforts to integrate smart technologies into urban planning and service delivery, aligning with wider UAE initiatives focused on digital transformation and sustainability.
